This seems to be a bug in jZip:

Trying to open an ISO-file with jZIP brings me an error-message telling, that the file-format is not supported and the file not opened because of this. But in the options I see ISO available (and checked by me) and the file does have in Windows Explorer the jZip-icon.

It is definitely not a corrupted file, because I am able to open the file with 7-zip. This file (I do not use ISO-format often and did this for testing) has been produced with Bart's PE builder, some of the pre-installed plugins disabled, but none added, giving an ISO-file with something more that 150 MB; based on XP SP2 Pro. So this should be rather easily reproducable.

Hey Cosmo,

It appears that jzip 1.1 indeed has problems working with ISO files, made by BartPE.
Luckily, this issue has already been solved on our latest jzip version 1.2.
You can download it from our site and give it a try.

Please post back and let us know, if you encounter further problems.

Hi sentinel, thank you for the answer. I have downloaded v1.2 and confirm this problem to be solved, tested with the same ISO-file.

Another hint: As a German fellow I went to the the German site and there it still says V1.1; so it downloaded the "old" version. I understand that the localized versions follow later, but I think it would be helpful, if there would be a hint on the localized pages about a newer English version.
EDIT: Also an announcement about new version on the announcement board would be a good idea.

Hey Cosmo,
Thanks for your comments.

Just to let you know, there's a new jzip version - 1.3 - which is now fully localized.
you can grab a copy at www.jzip.com
just select "German" from the drop down menu and download jZip.
