View Full Version : Critical bug in jZip 1.2

I just happend to see this one:

Right click the start button and get the context menu. Immediately above the properties-command (for the task-bar and start menu) there is an empty line with nothing in it except an arrow at the right. Hovering the mouse opens an also empty sub menu (which appears 4 rows high). Clicking on those empty entries brings up several components of jZip (obvioulsy the jZip shell context menu, which shows correctly in Windows Explorer). This needs urgent correction.

Found on XP SP 2 (latest updates).

I too can confirm this. I de-installed and then re-installed and this time did not select the option about shell extensions. No entry was made to the right-click option of the start button.

Hardly "critical", more "cosmetical". Not evident on Vista x64.

Hey guys,

This issue, regarding the missing jzip context menu, is already fixed.
The next version of jzip (v1.3) and the upcoming beta version will already contain this fix.
