won't open .rar

About half the time when I try to open a .rar file, jZip doesn't, saying DOESN'T SUPPORT THE FILE FORMAT OF THE FILE YOU ARE TRYING TO OPEN. THE ARCHIVE FILE COULD NOT BE FOUND. The files are video downloads, both the ones that jZIP opens and the ones it doesn't.
Help appreciated.

may be your archive is corrupted...try to download it again

If you mean download those .rar videos it won't download, I'ce tried that numerous times.
