Any news on your plans for a backup feature in JZip?
This may be a simple temporary solutions that would work for now.
Have JZip create desktop Command line shortcut. Instead of making a short cut to the Zip file create a shortcut command line bat file that will update create or update those files each time you click on the Icon.
This would be much easier for new users and save them from having to learn the command line commands.
