I see that jZip comes with an installer. How do I install it on my USB flash drive? Do I just install it on my PC and then copy the jZip directory over to the flash drive? Or is there more to it than that? Thanks.

Hey Bob,

Currently, there's no portable version of jzip being developed by the jZip team.
However, one of the forum members (nicknamed thibeaz), was working on a portable version of jzip, as a personal project.
I'm not sure what's the status of this project right now, but you can check out this link and try: http://forum.jzip.com/showthread.php?t=136

Hi,

Good to hear. Perhaps the portable version will work with Windows 98, as the installer prevents from installing only on Windows 2000 and higher.

Is there any code that in JZip that will not work with Windows 98. 7-Zip runs on that OS, so there shouldn't be an issue with the DLL's.
