Hey Derek,
Could you please write the exact command you tried and the error message you received?

I am entering the command line:-
jzip /e vss.zip.
vss.zip was created with the command line:-
jzip /f -p -r -l5 -wrh -x*.dat vss.zip \\Srvr-users\D\Devel\Generate\VSS\*.*
and contains many nested folders with data files in them.
I want to extract the data files, creating if necessary, the folder structure that I can see in the GUI version of jZip when it opens the archive.
jZip help says e: Extract files from archive (without using directory names) - there seems not to be a (using directory names) option. Consequently, I'm asked if I want to overwrite files which have the same name but are in different folders within the archive...

Hey Derek,
We're working on improving the command line function, along with a more user-friendly guide.
In regards to your problem, try using the following command:
"jzip /ed vss.zip"
This should Extracts all files from the archive, recreating the directory structure from folder information, stored in the Zip file.
tell me how it goes.

Thanks for that info - that works just fine...

How do you include a password with that extract on the command line.
If the zip file is password protected you get a popup but I do not want a popup, I want to place password on the command line.
Also "jzip /ed -spassword vss.zip" does not work.
any ideas

I am thinking about buying some wholesale water pipes from this company in China http://www.liangdianup.com/tobacciana_z.htm
but I am not sure if they are legal to bring in to the states? What are the laws on water pipes, bongs, and pipes?

The whole help it gives using
jzip /?
is wrong (f.e. commands are without '-' before) and many options like -ed are missing from the help list...

I issued jzip a dec09.zip install.log and got: Error occured while command executed, Then attempting to join the forum I lost all my data I was working with because FF locked up trying to log in to jzip. What a bummer! What am I doing wrong? Does it matter if dec09.zip does not yet exist????
